Setting the Stage for Connection and Growth

Date: Thursday, April 24th
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Manfredi O&P, Eatontown Office

Our inaugural session is designed to bring together individuals experiencing limb loss and limb differences in a space where stories and strengths can be shared openly and supportively. It's an opportunity to meet peers, make connections, and begin building a network that fosters encouragement and practical advice.

Our Goals for the First Meeting

  1. Getting to Know Each Other: The first part of our meeting will focus on introductions and discussions about what members hope to gain from "Out on a Limb." This is your chance to share your story, learn about others’, and express what topics or activities you believe will enrich our future gatherings.

  2. Skin Integrity Discussion: With the warmer months on the horizon, our second focus will be on maintaining skin health, a top priority for anyone using a prosthesis. We'll delve into best practices for skin care, discuss products that can aid in maintaining skin integrity, and share experiences and solutions that have benefited group members.
